In 2010, I ventured into the heart of the American West where the landscapes are epic, the colours are straight out of a painter’s palette, and the adventure never stops. Utah didn’t just meet my expectations—it surpassed them in every spectacular way imaginable.

Arches National Park: Where Rocks Defy Gravity
Arches National Park is a mesmerizing landscape where nature’s artistry is on full display. Located in eastern Utah, near the town of Moab, this iconic park is home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, each a testament to the power of wind and water over millions of years.
The most famous of these formations is Delicate Arch, an awe-inspiring structure that has become a symbol of Utah itself. Hiking to Delicate Arch at sunset is a must-do experience, as the golden light illuminates the arch and surrounding red rock, creating a scene that’s nothing short of magical.
